You might not recognize the groom in the photo above, as he doesn’t dress quite so fancy for work. But, doesn’t Adam Holencik, who heads our repair crew and supervises all roofing projects at Holencik Roofing, look dashing next to his beautiful bride, Rachel (Tretiak) Holencik? You may hear Rachel’s voice when you call our office. She works a couple days a week when she is not substitute teaching for local school districts. Rachel graduated from Wilkes University in December of 2010 with a BA in History and a BA in Psychology.

Even though there was a lot of rain in the weeks preceding the wedding, October 8th was a beautiful, sunny day – perfect for the outdoor ceremony at Evergreen Lake. Their reception was held at Penn’s Peak where family and friends enjoyed a great meal, the fabulous chocolate fondue bar, and dancing with music provided by A Plus DJs.

I encourage you to try laser tag as a group or as an individual. This is a great place for a birthday party for kids of all ages.

Holencik Roofing Team Building August 24, 2011

Holencik Roofing employees and their families spent a lazy summer afternoon at the Northampton Municipal Park on Sunday, July 31st. Heidi Mellon of Mellon Catering delivered the delicious food that included fried chicken and whipped potato salad. There was an inflatable obstacle course for the kids. We also had the drawing for our 6th Annual Cruise Contest.

Stefan & Tami Skweir of Northampton will spend five days relaxing on a Carnival Cruise ship in the Caribbean or any other Carnival destination.

You may not have noticed it was us in the picture that accompanied the story about the Spring Home Show at Stabler Arena, because our name wasn’t mentioned. The big story is not our appearance in the newspaper, but the fact that we were able to give away two $100 bills from out treasure chest at this past weekend. This may look like just another pile of garbage to you – but to us it is a weekly reminder to everyone at Holencik Roofing to reduce, reuse and recycle as much as we can. This is the cardboard and paper that used to go in the landfill at the end of each job. Now we save it for Thursdays when the Coplay Borough collects recyclable materials. Junk mail, plastic bottles and shredded office paper are other items we separate from the regular trash.
